The band broke the record for its longest concert ever played at 2002′s 311 Day show, with a total of 59 songs played (12 more than 2000). The show lasted nearly four hours, with the band taking only one five-minute break. Note: as a part of 311′s 2002 spring tour, Hoobastank also opened for 311 at the 2002 311 Day show, marking it as the only 311 Day in history to feature an opening band. 311 Day 2002 showcased some special on-stage entertainment, including a trapeze artist, fire eaters, giant cartoon characters, and more. Numerous rarities, b-sides, and very old songs were played, including the [possible] live debut of “Dancehall.”
