311 Day 2000 – State Palace Theatre / New Orleans, LA

On March 11, 2000, the mayor of New Orleans declared the day as the unofficial holiday “311 Day” – and the rest is history! 311 held its very first 311 Day concert celebration at the State Palace Theatre in New Orleans, LA, which began the tradition of playing an extended concert every other year as a special thank you to the fans.

This first 311 Day show in 2000 featured the longest setlist the band had ever played to date (47 songs). A few very old songs, rarities, and b-sides were sprinkled in throughout the set, along with the live debut of “Bomb The Town.” Nick closed out the show with multiple stage dives.
